This Privacy Policy explains how the Verva mobile application, developed by Lesmazer (Individual Developer — Türkiye), handles personal data. Verva is a short video creation and editing app for iPhone and iPad — you can record with the camera, import existing videos from your library, trim clips on the timeline and export the finished result.

Our core principle is simple: all video editing happens on your device. Verva has no servers of its own; there is no account or sign-up, and no advertising profile is built. The only exception is the subscription infrastructure that manages the optional Verva Pro subscription (see Section 4).

The following data is kept only on your device, in the app's own storage area; Verva never sends it to any server:

• Video projects you create and edit, timeline information and project version history
• In-app copies of the videos and photos you add from the camera, the system photo picker or by drag and drop
• Voiceovers and audio recordings you make in the app; audio and color lookup table (LUT) files you add from your files
• Your own templates, template favorites, and template usage counts kept only on the device
• Your saved color looks, teleprompter scripts and custom watermark logo
• In-app copies of the videos you export: the latest 5 and any made in the last 24 hours are always kept; older ones are deleted automatically when the total size exceeds 2 GB, or when they fall outside the latest 30 and are more than 7 days old
• Auto-save: project state is written locally to your device while you work
• Trash: projects you delete stay in the trash for 30 days and are permanently deleted when you open the app after that period
• App preferences and settings; the random user identifier used for the subscription check (also sent to our subscription infrastructure provider, as described in Section 4) and a temporary copy of your subscription status kept on the device

Tools such as separating the foreground from the background, scene and silence detection, in-between frame generation, and audio and color analysis run only on your device; your footage and audio are never sent anywhere for this. The foreground separation feature (“AI Cutout” in the app) analyses a frame from the clip you choose and creates a mask that separates the main subject (a person or an object) from the background; it does not perform face recognition and is never used to identify anyone. The mask is stored only on your device, temporarily and used only in your edit. We never have access to your video content.

Device backups: If your device's backup (cloud backup with your Apple Account or a computer backup) is turned on, the data Verva keeps on your device — your projects and the media copies in them, your audio recordings, the audio and color table files you imported, your own templates, saved color looks, teleprompter scripts, watermark logo, your settings and the random user identifier used for the subscription check — is included in that backup like other apps' data; export copies and version history are not included. We have no access to that backup, and removing the app does not delete copies in backups made earlier. You can manage these copies in your device's backup settings.

Photo library and sharing: Photos and videos you take with the Verva camera and every video you export are also saved automatically to the photo library on your device if you allow it; from there they follow your photo library's own settings (such as cloud sync). When you send a video to another app with the share menu or a direct share button, it is governed by the receiving app's own privacy practices. When you share directly to a social media app's story screen, the video is copied to the clipboard for 5 minutes so that it can be passed to that app.

None of these features send your data to us, but some of your project information can appear outside the app.

• System search: So you can find your projects, each project's name, tags, clip count and duration and a small copy of its cover image are added to your device's own search index and appear in system search results; the templates that come with the app are in this index too. When you move a project to the trash, delete it permanently or use “Delete All Projects”, its entries are removed from the index; they are also deleted when you remove the app.
• Shortcuts and voice assistant: Shortcuts such as creating a new video, opening your latest project or opening a project by name are offered; for this, your project names and clip counts are shown to the shortcut and suggestion system on your device. Commands you give through the voice assistant are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's privacy terms.
• Suggestions and continuing on another device: The name of the project open in the editor can be used in the operating system's suggestion features and can appear as a suggestion to continue where you left off on your other devices signed in with the same Apple Account.

Each permission is requested only when you use the related feature, and used solely for its stated purpose:

You do not need photo library permission to pick videos and photos: you choose them yourself with Apple's system photo picker (a system screen, separate from the app), and only the items you choose come into the app. If the original of a video you pick is stored only in the photo cloud of your Apple Account, the system downloads it from there; this download sends no data to us or to any other third party. Verva does not request location, contacts, calendar, notification or speech recognition permission.

All permissions are optional. Denying a permission disables the related feature while the rest of the app continues to work. You can change permissions at any time in the Settings app.

Your projects and other content are kept on your device until you delete them; however, projects in the trash are deleted automatically after 30 days, export copies are deleted automatically as described in Section 2, and the latest 10 versions are kept for each project. You can manage your data in the following ways:

• Per-project deletion: Delete individual projects or restore them from the trash within 30 days.
• Delete all projects: Settings > Danger Zone > “Delete All Projects” permanently deletes all your projects and their media copies, the trash, version history, your audio recordings, the audio files and color tables you imported, your own templates, template favorites, export copies and the project entries in system search, and resets your preferences to default. Your teleprompter scripts, saved color looks and custom watermark logo are not deleted by this action. So that your subscription is kept, the random user identifier used for the subscription check also stays on the device; all of these are deleted when you remove the app.
• Uninstalling the app: Removing Verva from your device also deletes all locally stored app data.

Records held by our subscription infrastructure provider (Section 4) are subject to that provider's retention rules. To ask for that record to be deleted, email contact@lesmazer.com — we will respond within 30 days. The record does not contain your name or email address, so please include the Order ID shown on the receipt email Apple sends after a purchase (or in your Apple purchase history) so we can find it. If you have not made a purchase, the app does not show you any record number, so we may not be able to match your request to a specific record. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription; you can manage it under Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions (Apple Account).

Verva does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. The app does not ask for your age; unless you email us yourself, no data that directly identifies you (name, email, contact details) is processed; only the pseudonymous data listed in Section 4 is processed to check your subscription. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page and the "Last Updated" date will be revised. We recommend reviewing this page periodically to stay informed of material changes.
